Oh wow. Did I have mixed feelings about this book or what?
I started reading this right after The Namesake and the technological jargon in The Rosie Project really jarred me. Also, Don does not make the best first impression. It could also be that he reminded me a bit too much of Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory. Don't get me wrong, I love Sheldon but I don't know if I could read a novel narrated by him. However, as the novel progressed, not only did I find Don endearing, I wanted to put him in my pocket and take him everywhere with me. Considering how unsavory I found him at the beginning, this was a very big and positive leap.
Rosie started out as a manic pixie dream girl but showed depth as the story moved along. A relief I must say. I really liked how she tried her best to connect with Don and to get him out of his shell.
I found their romance to be a bit over the top (probably because of the circumstances) but still managed to be very sweet, very fun.
