A Wallflower Christmas (Wallflowers, #5) - Lisa Kleypas

It was ok. It took me longer than usual to finish because the writing was less than stellar in my opinion. I found way too many cliches and predictable plot twists. I found myself saying out loud more than once "wow, this was written in a rush, wasn't it?". Ms. Kleypas' traditionally delectable prose was missing.

While Hannah was a sweet girl, I found myself caring very little for her. The obvious moments where I am supposed to warm up to her e.g. when she's reading "A Christmas Carol" to a group of children, seemed forced to me. Perhaps even a little uncharacteristic. As for Rafe, the feeling I get is 'meh'. He was nice but didn't stand out to me.

My favorite part had to be the brief interval where St. Vincent makes his appearance. I am truly weak for that rake.
