Review

Well... That sucked. I was in desperate need of a fun, light read after a few months of very oppressive reading. The fact that the setting is London was supposed to make this fantastic. Much to my dismay, I ended up with this book that seemed oh so promising. It wasn't. It was flat, boring and the protagonist is not only a class A push-over until the very end, she is also the least self-aware narrator right after the disastrous Bella Swan. She let everyone walk over her, never stood up to her asshole of a father (he called her a prostitute more than once and she said NOTHING), and acted like a petulant, self-loathing child.I wanted to like the main man Jonathan. Especially because I am weak for ginger-haired men but the man was bipolar. Shifted between completely detached and a goofball without a reasonable explanation. He wasn't charming and spoke in a way that no self-respecting man would. If it were up to me, I would've wanted her to end up with her bff Nelson. Then again, maybe not. He's too good for her.Oh and the fact that they share ONE kiss throughout the entire book was just ... come on.Do not want.
