Interview With The Vampire - Anne Rice
This was painful to read. Yet another example of a book I had to force myself to finish. While Anne Rice's writing is lush and exquisite, I wanted to kill the main character, Louis de Point du Lac, because all he really does in the entire length of the book is whine. Whine about the fact that he's unhappy, whine about the fact that he was transformed into this vile creature, whine that he's without salvation, whine about Lestat de Lioncourt, whine whine whine whine.
